I probably could have pushed ahead and set a new record for myself - I was getting close to 99K and still had almost 40 moves to go, which meant I could have coasted to 175 million easily, maybe even made it to 200 million - but of course, once you get above 101 million in Lumeno, you disappear off the board entirely. Since I wanted my high score to be visible and my position as champion secured (Just once, I want to dethrone the reigning champ JoeJCool and make him eat my dust for the rest of the month, is that a crime? I am so tired of always only being second-best, third-best, or fourth-best) I deliberately NERFED my score... and ended with 100 million and some change.
And as a result, my carefully ruined score of only 100 million and two hundred (or maybe it was 100 million and two thousand - whatever it was, it was pathetic) is STILL INVISIBLE.
I'm going to post the screenshot, not that anybody ever checks these message boards. The only place a high score counts is in the leaderboard.
Ruined my score, ruined my night. Sigh. I don't know why I keep up with this.
Oh man. I play a lot of games, but I hope I never allow myself to feel like my night is ruined over a video game score being visible or not and trying to beat some stranger on a board. Congrats on the achievement though. ๐. You worked hard for it. Celebrate by treating yourself to something special.
