What other car insurance plans does the aarp offer. I have had The Hartford now for 3 years. Every renewal it goes up no less than 10% every 6 months. That puts me at over 20% increase per year.

First off get out of that AARP mode. I got our policy out and started comparing my plan with others. I think it was the 2*3rd one I could save big dollars. It is with Allstate.

When I signed up they offered a plan where you download their app. and it monitors your driving. Helped my insurance go down, which it hadn't done since they all made adjustments because of COVID.

Who have you found better for Car Insurance

In Charlotte NC, where hand held devices are still allowed and those tattletale driving monitor devices are not allowed, our homeowners was a primary reason to shop around.

We found a better deal for home and auto with Erie through a local small family independent agency.

As expected, our first renwal bumped up a bit (no claims) but after that, it has been competitive and reasonably stable pricing for 6+ years. We go for high coverage policies, but higher deductibles, very few property risks, natural or man made, no kids at home, clean driving histories and we both have fico's over 825.
