Being an AARP member too, I had already perused this article.
My first impression was that it wasn't age appropriate as all the models seem to be years and years younger than the article readers. Hard to tell though because almost every model had been decapitated by the photographer.
Also, $150.......$118..... and so on and so forth. Article must be addressing people that have more money than I.
@nctarheel , AARP membership is NOW open to age 18 and older.
Gone are the days of age 50 and older.
So AARP is going to write for them too (age 18).
Technically, you are correct.
AARP's mission is still to represent the 50+ population and there are products that those who are below 50 ARE NOT eligible to purchase.
So, while you are correct.... I find that seniors are ignored except for medications for cancer, diarrhea, and diabetes in mainstream media, so it irks me a bit that AARP itself, is tailoring its attention toward those that are NOT its main mission.
