📬 Any Opinions - Post Office Issues!!!

I remember as a child (lol, many years ago) checking my parents MAILBOX to see IF my Grandmother had written me.

She is long gone, but I will ALWAYS treasure those letters.

Now, you could NOT pay me to put anything in a MAILBOX.

Between dishonest post office employees and the ever INCREASING postage rates = nope!!!

Any opinions out there?  🤔

I have always made sure my Mail Person knew how much I APPRECIATED them "delivering" my mail over the years.

➡️*** I am so upset at the INCREASED AND VIOLENT attacks against them!!! Then ADD the "stolen" mailbox MASTER KEY that gains access to our mailboxes (the ones in clusters).

Hmmm, wonder how and how long these "issues" will be FIXED and IF they can be.

➡️*** Then ADD the "backlog" at some Post Offices - yikes...

Why and what it is? ‌‌

It is a FREE "online" service provided by YOUR local post office that sends you an ALERT [text or email] when they will be DELIVERING mail to YOU that day.

I like it and so far ALL my mail has arrived. ‌‌‌‌‌‌

Stuff like Social Security and Car that they INSIST on mailing to me ‌‌‌‌‌‌, I like to KNOW so I can pursue issue IF this mail does NOT arrive.

I chose EMAIL and they usually arrive in my IN BOX 7am ET the day of delivery. I SAVE these emails until I go to my mailbox to get mail.

Promise I won't attack my mailman for the amount of junk mail, & the occasional "telescoping" of mail which can become annoying as I have to go through every piece of junk mail.

Last week my "Marriage Mail" was left in the open box, my car registration & Drivers license was telescoped within, & it rained/snowed.

Hmmm, the only car thing that is mailed to me is the STICKER for my plates.  👵

Sticker & Reg, Drivers licenses are mailed about a week after issue.

DL Has to go through the mail here, I inquired if it could be sent there & I could do a pick up, no go. 

Stickers can be got at the DMV, Mail or the new Vending machines (@ $5 extra)

Hmmm @Tempest332 , don't want to JINX myself, but it seems it has been awhile since the Post Office LOADED up my apartment mailbox with JUNK.  💃💃💃

[1] Lol, I have until September (next month) for AARP's 90-day preprinting of their ANNOYING Life Insurance forms with my name to STOP. Well let's say that is what I was told when I called a few months ago. Finally got tired of 4 years of shredding.

[2] Aetna Meducare IS SUPPOSE to stop sending me JUNK. Even got a letter in mail  🙄🙄🙄  verifying my COMPLAINT - supervisor signed and confirmed NO MORE. We will see.

*** I usually would get the mailbox fillers of coupons I DO NOT use and so on EVERY FEW DAYS ***

Anyway, GRATEFUL my box has remained EMPTY for awhile now.

Happy Days are here, maybe.

Oh, car sticker arrived safely in mail and on car. Was due THIS MONTH.
