Nice of you to apologize, but how will we be compensated for the points we lost and couldn't earn?

@DonnaPhotoArt  as part of the Terms of Service agreed to by all participants in AARP Rewards program it states "The Sponsor is not responsible for program interruptions or outages and is not obligated to credit or replace Points that could not be earned or credited due to technical issues or program unavailability."

 

We do encourage you to get the points today.

Why was there no MESSAGE from "our team" issued and displayed on the Rewards website during the 30+ HOURS that the issue existed? There were PLENTY of messages displayed in the days leading UP to the issue about maintenance and the site not being available, so why didn't someone have the DECENCY to post that an ACTUAL issue was in progress? Sure didn't seem like "our team" was even IN the GAME!

I am going to use my points up on sweepstakes and then that is it! Too many hassles and not worth it.
