AARP Eye Center
When I open the AARP Rewards site there had been a banner stating they were experiencing intermittent technical problems. Well it is no longer there. Apparently AARP believes they have fixed all the IT problems.
NOT SO FAST AARP! There are still so many problems. Why are we directed so many times to the Wildfire Video. Some videos in the list that are supposed to give points do not have the AARP Rewards circle with the 300 points in the middle. An why does it show that I have completed every point earning activity when I get the maximum points for the day.
I see reports of not receiving gift cards that have been redeemed. It took me contacting customer service to get one of mine. Now someone has received a gift card with a $0 balance.
This is a minor issue, compared to all of the other problems, but they also haven't fixed the notice you get when entering the sweepstakes. I never win these, but still usually enter one a month, just to use my points on something. Today, before I entered it said I had 0 daily entries and 30 total entries. After I entered for the max, it said I had 10 daily entries and 30 total entries (should say 40 total entries). Tomorrow before I enter, it will show my updated total as 40, but come on AARP, how hard is it to show the correct total right after entering the sweepstakes?
And yes, the banner is also gone for me, even though they haven't fixed the problems.
