Hi Robert, have you ever used FlyerTalk website for their community boards? It’s always been my go to place for travel questions .  The experiences people share there has been helpful to me in the past.  I did a quick look see, and rental car discussions come up there quite a bit.  Just an additional idea.  Happy traveling!
