Okay, just to clarify, booking with ANY site other than the property/company is imo foolish (based on experience with AARP Expedia for NOLA AARP Conference, booked for my mom and I, when hotel advised they did not have the reservation and AARP Expedia basically responded "Not our problem"...)
Since then, learned travel industry standards and for clarity, only use 2nd or 3rd party booking sites IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO BUY THE TRIP TWICE, because you might have to.
Just saying, to stay safer regarding travel money, use the site the company owns.
