When I started caring for her, my grandma as over 200 lbs, so I had to get her to diet so I could even move her. Well, I wasn't too successful with that, but I did get myself in better shape.

I was even able to be one of the six pallbearers fof her.

Welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. How long did you care for her? Did you do it alone? I think it's wonderful that you were able to fill your own tank and take care of yourself, while still tending to her needs.

What did you do to get back in shape? Please share and write more.
