AARP Eye Center
Hi everyone,
I’m excited to share a project I’ve been working on—a personalized virtual caregiver designed to assist individuals who may struggle with memory-related challenges, such as forgetfulness or conditions like dementia or Alzheimer’s.
The tool acts as a supportive helper, offering features like:
This isn’t about replacing human caregivers or doctors—it’s about enhancing their care by providing real-time assistance and improving communication between everyone involved in caregiving.
I’d love to hear your thoughts:
Your feedback will help ensure this tool is as effective and user-friendly as possible. Thank you for taking the time to share your insights—I deeply value your perspective.
Looking forward to the conversation!

Hi Samuel!
First off, it’s wonderful that you are on this endeavor! I’m new to the community so yours was when was the first post that I saw. It wasn’t letting me reply to this at first so I sent friend request? I was going to attempt to private message, but essentially I think it’s hard to answer your questions without context as to how you plan to roll it out, but I’d be happy to share any insight I have as a caregiver and a member of a family affected by memory care. I will say that during the pandemic, my grandpa really benefited from the portal. I think Facebook is the technology behind it.. anyways he was convinced I was in the room with him quite quite a few occasions. Without knowing more so it’s hard to give any feedback, but regardless, I wish you the best of luck and like I said, feel free to message me privately wherever those go haha
have a good day!
