Thanks for sharing that.  I do feel like they are trying to change and get consumer feedback at least-- and maybe thats the first step.  We have a long way to go thats for sure.

The VA system is, for sure, a big network and often filled with red tape.  But Ive found that not every hospital is created equally and that the people working at the VA are, for the most part, kind and well-intentioned.  I know for a fact the Va is working extremely hard to come into the modern age in terms of access to information and tranparency.  Wait times in places are still unacceptable and our mental health options are woefully inadequate throughout the country in every aspect of health care-- not just the VA.  We need more healthcare experts! But we can keep speaking up and working toward making things better.  Thanks for weighing in....

The VA beauracracy is the biggest challenge.  They don't share much info and tend to be adversarial versus helpful.
