I unsubscribed from Rewards emails, but no joy

A long time ago I unsubscribed from emails about AARP Rewards. They were a complete waste of my time.

But today (12/5/25) I just received an email, Subject: Your AARP Rewards Account Summary

What is going on behind the scenes to keep telling me about Rewards?

Note: I have a zero balance.

Hi, im taking a stab at it, but you may have been following a rewards newsletter?  Go into your account settings and see if you possibly have a newsletter setting that didnโ€™t get turned off.  Otherwise you can contact them on Monday using the Contact Us page.  ๐Ÿ™‚

Dear SereneSeagull,

To my recollection (which is diminishing as the years go by), I have never "followed" anybody or anything, including AARP. I never go to AARP on my phone -- only use a browser on my computer.

Thanks for trying.

Ok, ๐Ÿ‘  There's a Rewards Newsletter that I thought possibly you may have gotten subscribed to.  Logging into the website here you can see what things have been subscribed, and get unhooked from them.  I thought maybe that might've been what was ticked as subscribed.  On Monday they have work hours and you can contact them directly to have someone take a look.
