AARP Eye Center
Hey, AARP does appreciate your patients with their apathetic/indifference.
Very interesting situation with the AARP website. It seems AARP management feels no pressure regarding the constant and for years the status of, ‘Experiencing Technical Difficulties'
AND
Even when you get this result: Success! Your address has been updated,
there is a problem. When I reviewed the change, nothing changed.
With a call to customer service they said: ‘we see the change on our side’. What !
Well then you must have two different files and the online file is not updated.
Can you imagine, the online address is not the address used or seen by AARP.
But I did not believe this explanation. So I asked to have a problem ticket created and to have a copy of the ticket emailed to me so I could follow the issue progress. Never happened.
There is no ticket. Nothing is being done about these issues.
Looking in community sites and researching online reveal a tremendous amount of complaints.
@AARPConsumerCare Would you please pass this on to AARP IT?
Analyzed my own experience and posts to our AARP Online Community and wonder if this could be checked:
Is it possible the "day start" server clock may be set to UTC while the "day end" server clock may be set to ET (based on the facts most can earn and redeem at 19:00 ET and cannot earn or redeem after 00:00 ET)?
Thank you in advance for considering this information.
