One small win: I asked a total stranger at the local Target to reach me down a 2liter diet soda rather than chasing down a staff member there. OK, he was standing right there. I put on my best **little** lady look. I really can't get to the top shelf if the stock isn't pushed up to the edge.
What's harder that expected is allocating my time among the "gotta do" things, and the bit of effort it takes to be social. Almost all of my socializing is outside of my home and sometimes it's easier to sit home and do the same old stuff.

Hello @EGREEN79 Sorry for your situation. Glad you were able to take yourself out of it. Something popped into my head that I thought might be of help to you.
Travelerโs Aid International is still around. Take a look at their website and thereโs a contact page. I think they can help you further or point you to others who can assist well. Take care.

A HELPING HAND ALONG THE WAY
Travelers Aid International is an international network of social service agencies, airports and train stations representing a safety net to individuals of all abilities to connect with a support system or place.
TAI is committed to uplifting the human experience, using the skills and talents of a diverse group of volunteers and staff. Our programs share a combined passion and desire to create a culture of caring and support. We succeed when a family living on the streets gets a roof over their head, when a young woman escapes from a sex trafficking ring, when a hungry child can stop wondering where his or her next meal will come from, or when a traveler unable to navigate the airport alone receives a friendly guide. This ongoing challenge to seek a better life for those in need continues to motivate us โ and we will always strive to be โA Helping Hand Along the Way.โ

My one small win was joining the senior center and getting out more after losing my mother at 95 years old.
