I already went to Duluth, MN with one of my daughters and two of my grandkids for the 4th of July, now I want to organize my house and yard so everything is ready for me to go back to teaching school in late August.

Good for you, Carol! My mom started her "higher-education" journey when she attended community college at 56; then UMKC at 60, then attained her JD at 64...

Proudly she became CASA attorney and served so many needy persons throughout the 20 years she was able to.

Keep up your drive; it will pay dividends, me thinks!

My husband and I have only had 1 dream since 1981, when we got married.  It is a trip to Norway. I don't think we will ever make it there but everyone needs to have a dream, right??

I want to relax more, because I spend a lot of time taking care of my Dad and brother. I also want to eat healthier & get in better shape.

I’m looking forward to my first summer of being retired.  I want to relax and get use to making my own hours and planning outings in the middle of the day rather than waiting for after work or the weekend.  I’m also looking forward to a vacation trip in late September.

As this is my first summer of retirement I am looking forward to spending time with my kids and grandkids.  It is a little bit tough because I am my 96 year old fathers care giver and I don't drive.  Somehow I work it out though.  As I read more and more I realize that what I am going through mentally is common for seniors.  I'm hoping to work this out over the summer so I can really enjoy this stage of life.
