I just received an e-mail that said there was a Newsletter Exclusive offer of a $5 Walmart Gift card for 26,000 points. I have already used my 3 points redemptions for the month. I feel like if AARP sends me an e-mail with an offer like this they should honor it, no matter how many redemptions I've made for the month. They should either honor this for everyone OR not send offers to people who can not redeem them.
As long as I'm here, I also think the 3 points redemptions per month is silly. I'm sure there's a reason for it but I don't know what it is.

I can totally understand your frustration, @stevestjohn. However, the email was sent to everyone who subscribed to the newsletter regardless if they have already used their monthly redemptions.
There are limitations to reward point redemption, purchase of items in the AARP Rewards catalog, and prizes that participants may win through sweepstakes and instant win games. These limitations are provided in the AARP Rewards catalog. We've also included the most popular item limits here for your convenience: https://aarp.info/3xUQmTP - Diana G.
I wasn't enrolled in the rewards program when they had the great benefits described by other people, and I don't know if the gift cards offered back then sold out as fast as the current gift cards sell out. It would be nice to get more than 3 redemptions per month, but if they allowed that, then I expect the really good gift cards would sell out even faster than they do now, and a lot of members wouldn't be able to get any of them. What I wish they would do is show all of the gift cards for the month at the start of the month, so we can choose the 3 that we really want. But they already have tech issues with just showing the extra credit gift cards at the beginning of the month, and if they offered even more, then it would be even worse. So for now, we're left with trying to figure out if we should get a gift card at the beginning or middle of the month (assuming it hasn't already sold out before we even see it for the first time, which happens to me quite a bit), and then maybe miss out on better gift cards offered later in the month. Or passing on early gift cards and then not getting anything later in the month.
We appreciate your feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve what we offer to our members, @RenateW69623. I'll take your comment and pass it along to our team to be reviewed and addressed. The three redemptions were not that bad before they got so greedy and changed all the rules and rewards. As I said you use to be able to use all 3 redemptions for one vendor plus back in the day the gift cards were always like $50, $25, $10 and hardly ever did you see a measly, lousey $5 coupon.
