I’ve purchased two $500 gift cards on September 23 here today it’s September 26 I have not heard anything I’ve called a dozen times , chat and left voicemails I have not ears ANYTHING money settled from my account on the 24th so why don’t I have gift cards I’m tired of hearing it’s being escalated like what’s the problem explain to me what’s the problem ? My cruise leaves in 3 days I am so on edge and nervous and upset because if I don’t get those gift cards in time I won’t need them , then for AARP to holler no refunds is insane when you have $900 of my money and I don’t have a product and potentially not have it for my trip . I DO NOT recommend nobody to buy gift cards from AARP , I will be reporting them to BBB and not renewing my subscription . This is the worst customer service ever !!!!!
Ordered $500 if Lowes discounted to $460 from AARP Rewards. No gift cards received but AARP charged my credit card. I filed a dispute with my credit card company after speaking AARP rep who told me there was a problem with a purchase order and it would take 5-10 business days to sort. Seems like a fraudulent outfit is administering AARP Rewards.

Please read my earlier post, I bought 5-$500 cards 6 days ago, Been on the phone, emails been told NOTHING, I believe AARP has turned into a SCAM company. Im told it was a technical issue it could take 3 to 5 days, 5 days later still not a word, We leave on Saturday, I certainly wont need them after that! So, after asking, requesting and now finally I'M DONE. I reported AARP to my CC company as having Fraudulently charged my card. They cannot prove they sent anything, and I believe they wont! I also had my CC refund the 12$ dues. I dont want to be part of a Thieving Company.
My recommendation, Get hold of your CC issuer and file a fraud case against AARP.
YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD JUST SEND WHAT YOU PAID FOR BUT NO>>>THEY WONT AND WILL JUST KEEP YOUR MONEY!! BUYER BEWARE!
