I guess it is just another cutback. There is no reason to earn points if there is absolutely nothing to use them on. I think I will will be cutting back dramatically on earning points. I have way too many points and now no random gift cards to use my points on. Winning an Instant Win or Sweepstakes is very very rare. No random cards. And only 6 cards offered in the Extra Credit. And those are usually only $5 cards and most are for places that are nowhere near me or I have no use for. The rewards program had become worthless. But no surprise there, Merkle has pretty much run every rewards program into extinction when they take over.

I feel the same. I have worked hard for those points. A 5 dollar Walmart is not worth it. Seems like a lot of hassle at the cash register for 5 bucks. I check several times a day to look for gift cards for points and they have had a few.
Time for me to move on also unless something changes.

Not to say your statement is wrong, but particulally last month and maybe a short period before, I noticed that when point rewards were posted and gobbled up quickly, they no longer appeared, even as sold out. So while you might be right, I do have to wonder if over the course of the February days, points only rewards were only posted briefly and disappeared after being sold out. On Feb 1, for what its worth, Walgreens (22k points for a 5$ gift card and Papa John's 5$ GC were available. I suspect the point of the post was about after Day1 though.
