Received my new multi-year membership card. Made of cardboard.
What happened to plastic, like have been receiving for years?
Certainly expense of product can't be an issue - if so, raise the membership fee by a dollar a year. I live in a high humidity location - Miami. Don't feel comfortable carrying a cardboard card for a few years.
Thanks.

@lloyd1981 The permanent membership cards are plastic. It sounds like you may have a temporary card that is sent with the membership renewal notice. I have re-ordered your permanent membership card and you can expect to receive it by mail within 2-3 weeks. You can also access your digital card on the AARP Now app, learn more here: https://help.aarp.org/s/article/How-do-I-access-my-AARP-digital-card-via-AARP-Now-app
