HOW ARE YOU GUYS?  🤔

61 degrees here in Cave Spring, Virginia at about 9:25am ET. They saw 81 at 6pm.  😭😭😭  Where is Spring???

They say WHATEVER DOES NOT KILL YOU, MAKES YOU STRONGER.

Lol, so I am still "alive" from my Apartment Flood on Friday. Literally wanted to cry when I called the Office. SO GRATEFUL Josh was there and he and Larry ran over. Long story, been dealing with 2 leaks since moving into my CUTE Studio Apartment in 2018. PREVIOUS OWNER fixed zero and knew the leaks existed before I moved in. Anyway, fingers crossed, the Plumber arrives tomorrow with a camera to see which PIPE in wall is leaking.

Next didnot kill me  🙄🙄🙄, the Stray Cat I had grown to luv and helped me EVERY DAY to deal with life, has MOVED ON. I guess HIS SEASON IN MY LIFE has ended. Sad, but glad to see he is okay = still stopping by Ms. Geraldine's Front Porch which is next door to where HIS HUMANS used to live. In between tears, I am FOREVER GRATEFUL for him letting me give him "belly rubs" - would roll over when he saw me. Escorting me home from my Weekly Trip to the Dumpster and Mailbox. Furbabies ADD so much to OUR lives...  🐈  Thank you My Boy!!!

Well, my daughter is in Jacksonville with a friend of hers. She lives in Melbourne. Glad to see she is and have a feeling MAYBE looking for jobs there. Her old Engineering Company was a MAJOR EMPLOYER in her city and with their 4/11/24 MASS LAYOFF, doubt any jobs available.

Well, an up all night - lol, so grateful I get to stay home = no need to be driving with no sleep.

Won $1 on one of my $1 Scratch Off Tickets and $3 on the other one. Yes, my $2 splurge every Tuesday when I head to Walmart for groceries.

I had NOT seen my friend (Walmart employee) for the LAST two visits. But learning to APPRECIATE the "random" things in my life. Well TODAY she was behind me and we hugged. A dear lady who is a Cancer Survivor. IF I had not decided to CHANGE to the OTHER Self-Checkout, I probably would NOT have ran into her.

Lol, was in one of my moods YESTERDAY [TUESDAY] MORNING and didnot want to deal with the staff at my usual Self-Checkout location.

My daughter in Florida finally finished working on her resume. Yes, after 5 years, her resume needed updating. Now to hope she finds something soon before her 5 weeks Layoff Severance runs out.

Nicole @SpringIsHereSoHappy , It sounds like you had a pretty good day. A little profit on the lottery tickets, a chance meeting with your friendly Walmart employee, and a hug! 

I did a Zumba class online and took a very good line dancing class through AARP. It's hard not to be happy when you are dancing!

A cancelled class for this evening allows me to have dinner with a friend so all is well.

Walmart today as usual - my weekly Out Of Food Run and Scratch Off Ticket Time.

Thank you Nicole. Good to hear from you too, and also to read everyone's shares. I was trying to start a new topic. What Not To Do When Grieving. I found a good article but can't find it again. I've done a lot of what Not to do when grieving. Lol Does everyone have suggestions of what not to do?  Thank you.

Hi MC @mc6844 , I don't know IF you have kids [I seem to remember you had mentioned grandkids, excuse my Senior Moment  🙄] - but NO matter how OLD they are [my daughter is 37] - we moms do worry. I am sure as an Engineer she will find something soon! 🤗

Yes. Lol that's one change I can make. Doc says buy only for sensitive skin. Soap and detergents etc.

I've been recovering from a reaction to laundry detergent. Ugh! I think we get tired when we're already going through things. And need to take better care of ourselves. I hope you are all well and doing what you can each day. Have a blessed day!
