What Are Your Favorite Instrumental Tunes?

The subject of instrumentals came up in another thread, so I thought it might be fun to see what instrumental tunes everyone enjoys. Instrumentals cover a wide range of genres when you start to think about it; classical (of course), movie soundtracks, pop, jazz, big band oldies, blues, country, rock, and many instrumental versions of your favorite song titles, too.

So what instrumental music do you like? What are your favorite tunes or instrumental versions of your favorite songs? Multiple tunes and multiple genres are okay. And, if you have favorite on youtube, feel free to post the link so that we can listen, too!

Tuxedo Junction - The Glenn Miller Orchestra

...Hope this isn't outta line, but has to be one of the sexiest songs I've ever heard...could slip seamlessly into a Barry White playlist.

@EricC28201  Great dance tune... In the 90’s, I went through a phase of listening to Big Band music and even took some dance lessons.

Pete Townshend does a great job, but John Entwistle’s bass lines are remarkable!

@jm2422 - I found a video on YT, Dick Clark’s Saturday Night Beechnut Show. The minute they started playing, I remembered it! I was just a little kid when this came out.

Thanks Volta, Santos three neck steel solo work is absolutely beautiful.

Johnny's chord rhythm is perfect. Not heard or done with most of today's

players. Great chord changes make great songs. That  song is full of them.

Glad you enjoyed it.
