Consulates are there to help people with problems while in the country. Ask if they can help. Sometimes they can give a loan which you'd repay when you get your benefits.

You're right. They also tell people that they recommend Consumer cellular, but they are NOT cheap, same with the Hartford. It's all about making money for themselves, not helping people who don't have money to waste.

Don't ever feel embarrassed for using coupons. It's the less savvy people who don't use them, regardless of wealth. The store owner should feel embarrassed for advertising, getting people to her store and then not honoring the coupon. Just walk away ...
