FWIW All these offers with the exception of the 100 points for CANDYHEARTS are already on the rewards page!  I had a long discussion with AARP about having these "promos" when the items you are hunting for are already on the rewards page.  What is the purpose of a hunt where only one item has new value (the 100 points for CANDYHEARTS)?  Did not get far with AARP about this, also asked why the point value for the rewards is much higher and the value very low, answer was it was all up to the merchant.  Huh?  Asked why don't you consider giving us an extra redemtption when you have these hunts?  For those of us that already redeemed our points for items this type of a hunt is useless.  Considering they do these hunts several times a year, give us a heads up on the last day of the month that next month there will be a contest so maybe hold back redeeming for our overpriced cards and instead see what junk we can entice you to get later next month...guessing they will have an easter or st. pat day one next month...

So the perks from this "game" are 2 sweep/lottery, 3 bags, and 1 point earner.  Sounds like a fun game to me!

No criticism here, but just wondering why you didn't contact customer service about this earlier?  Did you think it wasn't worth the time, or were you still waiting for the item?  Or did you contact them with no results?

I see comments from other people who didn't get this item back in November, but it doesn't sound like any of them did anything about it back then either.  Just wondering how people handle issues like this, since I have only been a member for a few years and haven't had to deal with any of these types of issues so far.

Update to my comment - I see that some other people did get their points re-imbursed earlier, so it looks like that is the only option when something like this happens.

I never received this item from Nov 2023 either.  The loss of one of my 3 allowed monthly points only redemption is more important than the 9K points under the current rules!  I would prefer you send me the item and NOT take away another redemption from my scarce monthly allowance. Since it is being offered again, they must be in stock. I appreciate any efforts that could be made to replace my "lost: allotment for November! Thanx in advance...

When a physical item is not received within the 4-6 week timeframe, we only have the ability to reimburse the points. Got both of the $5 ones since I had two left that I was going to lose.  Really try to avoid the $5 ones except for Amazon which is so easy to redeem.  Pays for a bit of my Kindle addiction.   Otherwise would have left such expensive low value items alone...

 I don't have any redemptions remaining this month, but even if I did I would pass on the ridiculous 25,000 points AARP is extorting from its members for a measly $5 Walmart GC.  Same for the $5 Amazon GC. As of this posting, both are still available for those with deep pockets.

Reducing the points only cards to a measly $5 and now raising the points value on those cards to an extremely high amount is unjustified. It was bad enough that AARP would open its doors to anyone regardless of age when the 50 and over seniors are the ones that actually built up this organization. SO SADShame on you AARP

Totally agree - I also noticed some changes in the sweepstakes, I usually choose one a month to enter every day.  The one last month I was entering is having 1 winners (fingers crossed I am lucky), but I noticed the one I was interested in this month, for the same amount of points every day, will have only THREE winners!  So I passed on that.  I know they are legally obligated to have non-members enter the sweepstakes so our hands are tied there, but it would be nice to have more winners so members can have a better chance!
