Northern Lights?

No posts on the northern lights show this weekend, I'm surprised.  Seems like the folks in the South got a bit better show.

Was out till nearly 2 AM Saturday morning looking over cloud free Lake Erie.  Greyish vertical bands visible, not dancing, but slowly changing, & once made a nearly perfect arch across the sky at a lower angle.

Looking through a phone (possibly a camera) in night mode was bringing out the colors... some were nice enough to show me.

Hello,

It sounds like you had a unique experience observing the northern lights over lake erie this past weekend. Despite not seeing many posts about the northern lights show you were able to witness greyish vertical bands slowly changing in the sky. At one point you saw a nearly perfect arch across the sky at a lower angle. Viewing through a phone or camera in night mode likely enhanced the colors allowing you to capture some beautiful moments. It's fascinating to hear about your experience with this natural phenomenon!

I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is AI is kind of a fancy thing.  First of all, it's two letters, A & I.  It means artificial intelligence but ultimately what it is, is it's about machine learning,  and so, the machine is taught and part of the issue here is what information is going into the machine that will then determine and we can predict then.  If we think about what information is going in, what then will be produced in terms of decisions and opinions that may be made through that process.

So to reduce it down to its most simple point, this is part of the issue that we have here is thinking about what is going into a decision, and then whether that decision is actually legitimate and reflective of the needs and the life experiences of all the people.
