Coffee !
I've been all over these forums & can't find the 'right forum', so mybe i'll find an answer on the front porch ?
I have 2 cans of 'cheapie' coffee ; tried mixing them so they would be more flavorful, but not-so-much did it work. Might buy a more spendy brand & mix them, but in meantime, anyone have any ideas on how to make these cheap brands taste better ?
Thanks !

Welcome to the Front Porch coffee club!
Does coffee really taste sweeter on Friday?
The natural sugars, amino acids, alcohols, and glycols of coffee are transformed during the roasting process in an event called the Maillard Reaction. ... Lighter roasted coffees are known to have a fruity or floral sweetness. Darker roasted coffees more often have a darker, deeper sweetness.

Hi, Sandee!
Not sure how old this post is, so if it's truly from 2017, everyone pls ignore my response and tyvm...
If current, it would help to know what coffee brands you consider "cheapie" and which "more flavorful".
I do this mix daily, buying with Kroger stores have "case" sale on Folgers, then adding cheap coffee from other sources. But I use a "k-cup" based coffee machine (had to stop having so much coffee every day due to heartburn and insomnia, so bought a pod system).
If you have favorite and cheap available brew names possible to get formula 😉

Hello @ss11943859 , years ago when I lived in New Orleans I enjoyed their special coffee with chicory, which I liked for its dark roast taste and blood sugar lowering benefits. Maybe blending your cans with Cafe du Monde coffee with chicory or French Market brand would help.
While I was searching for sources of chicory additive, which I didn't find, I came across this article with suggestions for other ways to enhance coffee. Most of these don't sound especially appealing to me, but I have already tried some by adding coffee toppers often available at Starbucks et. al., such as cinnamon, chocolate, and vanilla

Good luck!

Hi @DaveMcK thank you for responding. Not sure what I want/lol. Maybe ONLINE would give me more CHOICES versus going to store, to store. Hate shopping.

What is R.E.D. Friday?
RED is an acronym that stands for Remember Everyone Deployed. R.E.D. Friday was created to remind people of our heroes overseas and show that we are thinking of them. People across the country wear red every Friday to serve as a reminder and spread the message of how important it is that we keep our troops in our thoughts.
How did R.E.D. Friday Get Started?
Remember those email chains you used to get asking you to forward to 10 friends – or all of your friends? There were all kinds: some claiming ridiculous things, some trying to raise awareness for campaigns or diseases, and some that were just plain silly. This is how R.E.D. Friday originated: an email chain back in 2005.
We Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like you, would like simply to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops will be continuing on each and every Friday, until ALL of our troops come home, that every RED - blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Picture is of me in Red with my Grandaugter.
I like Red Coffee Mugs!
