White Collar on Netflix. This a tv series with six seasons. I just watched the first three episodes, and I’m hooked! 

A young convicted criminal, whose expertise includes forgery, art theft, etc., is let out of prison early to help the FBI solve white collar crimes, hopeful of getting a new lease on life, all while having his own agenda to be free again.

So you have a mix of crime solving with a big sense of humor. Quite a treat, and it’s TV-14 rated. 👍 The characters (and the actors) are quite charming and charismatic, with a good dose of Yin and Yang going on. Great entertainment and fun.

American Rust (on Amazon Prime) is now in its second season.  My wife and I have enjoyed it.

Well written, good acting...

An excellent, but disturbing film, it is not one that you watch for entertainment. This is the story of the commandant of the Auschwitz concentration camp and his family, as they live an idyllic life just on the other side of the wall from the horrors of the camp. It is unlike most films made about the Holocaust in that it does not take the viewer inside the camp, yet we are keenly aware of what is taking place. At the end of the film are pictures from the Auschwitz Holocaust Memorial.

Don’t be put off because of the subtitles. It is easy to follow, and the pictures alone speak dramatically.

@SummerIsTooHOT   I liked many of the Grantchester episodes!  Mostly I like Robson Green so I watch some of the not so good ones too.  It it getting long in the tooth though.  Hard to believe they are going to try and do another season without it seeming to be stale.

At 10pm ET I am watching this on PBS TONIGHT:

The Trouble with Maggie Cole, 2020, Drama, 1 Season-6 episodes. Maggie Cole is the self-appointed oracle of her close-knit community. Maggie makes it her business to know a little bit about everyone's lives, and certainly pays no attention to the adage that `those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones'.

I just finished watching "Secrets of the Forbidden City" on PBS. Totally fascinating how huge this structure is, all manual labor and that it has survived the chronic earthquakes. Anyone else saw this?

Anyone have a PRIME Subscription or sign up EACH YEAR for their Free Trial like I do?  🤔 

I head straight to the BRITISH STUFF to "binge" before my trial ends!!! You are allowed to sign up ONCE A YEAR.

Lol, I cannot wait until this June 2024 [my one year mark from last year 2023 sign up]

@SummerIsTooHOT   I did sign up once but they wanted lots of money for the movies I wanted to see and their own content was not so great.  I cancelled after the trial, butI did notrealize they made an annual offer.

@MaVolta The movie I want to see is Oppenheimer so I may try to get Peacock for a month 😉.  I plan on ditching Acorn for Britbox this summer when my yearly expires.  I  do contribute to PBS every month to keep up my streaming service.  Website is klunky though.

@SummerIsTooHOT  - I saw it years ago! It’s very well done like all of the British period dramas. If I remember, it’s based on a novel, like most of them are.
