Memory Care price increases

My wife is in a memory care unit in NC.

I recently received a substantial increase for her care without an

explanation.

Is there a regulating body for amount and frequency of memory care

increases?  Thanks-Rod

7-10K/month that will be a great start to deplete your funds.

Well, workers got a pay increase probably administration too.

Workmansโ€™ Comp and other insurance cost also increased.

Most likely any workers benefits like health insurance has also increased.

They also increase the care cost on a personal basis - more need = more care = more $$$$ - that way with most all assisted living places.  they vary as to when this gets reviewed - sometimes more often than others.

There isnโ€™t any regulations on price increases - State regulators just monitor that there are enough workers and facilities to create a safe and care environment - including background checks on the workers and investigating any complaints or incidences.
