Now IF my VERY OLD BRAIN "remembers"  🙄🙄🙄  I seem to remember you mentioning Stepkids. So HATS OFF TO YOU MOM and hope you were able to spend some time with them.

You did great remembering Nicole @SpringIsSoHappy ! I did not get to spend time with either of them, but I did my housecleaning, went to a park to enjoy walking and nature, and ordered takeout to enjoy a quiet dinner at home.😊

Well, the GOOD NEWS is the floor in my Utility Room is NOW DRY and I let the NICE new Property Manager know. I can live with the HOLE IN THE WALL as he has his hands full from previous guy NOT fixing stuff. Really critical stuff!!!

SO GRATEFUL for this new guy. Really cares.

My daughter as far as I know is still Job Hunting since her 4/11/24 Surprise Same Day Mass Layoff at Harris L3 in Florida. I TRY  🙄🙄🙄  not to ASK if she has found anything = wait on her to tell me IF she has.  👍👍👍

Lol, I am having one of my feel sorry for myself and worry about my laid off daughter in Florida DAYS.

But it has been a PEACEFUL DAY here in Cave Spring-Virginia, about to change as folks head back from work.

👣👣👣  As we say all the time - 1 Step At A Time, I "is" Stepping to get out of bed for that Morning Coffee I didnot have. It is about 3pm ET.  🙄🙄🙄

Well, an up-all-night - lol, so grateful I get to stay home = no need to be driving with no sleep.

Won $1 on one of my $1 Scratch Off Tickets and $3 on the other one. Yes, my $2 splurge every Tuesday when I head to Walmart for groceries.

I had NOT seen my friend (Walmart employee) for the LAST two visits. But learning to APPRECIATE the "random" things in my life. Well TODAY she was behind me and we hugged. A dear lady who is a Cancer Survivor. IF I had not decided to CHANGE to the OTHER Self-Checkout, I probably would NOT have ran into her.

Lol, was in one of my moods YESTERDAY [TUESDAY] MORNING and didnot want to deal with the staff at my usual Self-Checkout location.

My daughter in Florida finally finished working on her resume. Yes, after 5 years, her resume needed updating. Now to hope she finds something soon before her 5 weeks Layoff Severance runs out.

Monday Monday. I played tennis a half hour earlier today because of scheduling and initially I wasn't quite awake. I also made it to water aerobics so I could catch up with a friend I hadn't seen for awhile. The outside temperature was great, but the pool was cool! 🥶 Tonight is my chorus' Friends & Family night so I have to get myself together for that performance. I'm grateful for a beautiful day of life and activity.

I did a Zumba class online and took a very good line dancing class through AARP. It's hard not to be happy when you are dancing!

A cancelled class for this evening allows me to have dinner with a friend so all is well.

I've done a lot of what Not to do when grieving. Lol Does everyone have suggestions of what not to do?  Thank you.
