Caregiving for my loved one

Hello,

My parents are beginning to require more assistance in their daily lives. I am interested in learning more about the caregiving community. What are the best places to look for security systems, communities, and caregiving assistance? How can I monitor them in their homes- for fall detection, etc.?

Where do you all find your information on these topics?

@NogaB865447 Hi! AARP has great information about these topics in our Family Caregiving site.  These might be especially helpful to you as you start to research and prepare for the future:

• AARP’s Prepare to Care guide outlines 5 steps you can take to be better prepared when you need to care for loved ones, and you can re-visit these steps over and over again to adjust plans as their needs change (so even if you’re in the middle of caregiving, this guide is a great resource). It’s a basic framework on which you can build support throughout the ups and downs of caregiving.
