united health care will not cover mom's medicare supplement stay at rehab? pre-existing condition??

We thought medicare supplement will cover beyond medicare's rehab care time!   But now United Health sends letter saying will not cover because of pre-existing condition.  Not explaining what pre-existing condition.  I thought Obamacare elimininated pre-existing conditions!    United Health says must wait 6 months after starting to make payments to gain full coverage.   I assume, it "no pre-existing conditions" are found after 6 months?  Very disappointed, that after speaking to AARP sales agent and United Health Care and Rehab Accounts Billing, NO one mentioned Pre-existing conditions could be used to block coverage.  I hope our Senior Community and AARP can rectify this type of horror!
