Didn't recieve gift Card

I ordered a gift card from Holland America for $500 on December 1st. My friend, who referred me to this, received his within minutes. However, I didn't.

The money was deducted from my credit card, but I never received the gift card. The agent in the chat initially told me to wait for 24 hours, suggesting there might be a delay.

Today, I inquired again, and now they informed me that they will forward this to Escalation Management, which might take up to 5 business days.

This is awful.
