I stopped posting when I found several of the contributors worked for AARP. I checked them out when the word "OLD" was used and lot of references to assisted living for a lot of inquiries. I was so happy to think I lucked out and found a group that ...

No AARP in my area. Senior center is focused more on activities and service (which is great if you don't need help). I keep trying to verify CARE.com for service (driving, cleaning, medical, vet...) but know too few people near me to get recommendati...

Here I go butting in with advice that is probably not as good as those more experienced but someone needs to offer an alternative. Housing in CA isn't any more expensive trhan anywhere else if you know where to look. I had been looking near the CA/NV...

I used to quote that God wouldn't give me more than I could handle. Secretly I thought he either over estimated my strength or he wasn't paying attention. I was told to not pray for strength because God would send tests in my way to help build it up....
