Tell us about yourself:
I am a retired elementary educator and librarian. I look out for my VietNam veteran ex husband who has serious illnesses and uses denial (named after a river in Egypt LOL) approach to dealing with them. You know what I mean, ladies!
We retired to Phoenix from LA and just love it here! I do water aerobics, thrift shops and Home Depot while I decide whether to work part time or volunteer.

I would prefer to use the word persistent to bullying. My husband has diabetes , peripheral artery disease and ischemic cardiomyopathy. He hides symptoms and is very stubborn about doing anything that takes him away from his computer and the stock ...

You are very courageous! She really has to have a specialist, a neurologist ,I imagine, is the appropriate doctor for dementia. Please, please dont let an internist or other generalist (I would be very wary of a gerontologist for this also) prescr...

My husband has ischemic (bad blood vessels) cardiomyopathy (heart doesnt pump at full strngth). If he doesnt take his walk every day, he sometimes shows serious confusion. I think this is because of his poor circulation. We had him get an MRI from...
