Dale William Shidler, Professor, Communication Design, joined the faculty at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) in the fall of 1999. Before coming to MIAD he was on the faculty at Loyola University Chicago. Dale has a BA in Elementary Education from Bethel University/Indiana and an MFA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University/Ohio. Dale has served in a variety of leadership roles in his time at MIAD. He lives in Milwaukee with his husband, Ken.
