Tell us about yourself:
Bit of a cliche, am 63 and have to work low paying jobs to get by. It has been great (but sad too) to read others' accounts of ageism so prevalent in the workplace. Also, great information on some posts (I even printed one post). I cannot currently even buy much food AND pay the bills, so joining any paid memberships is not an option right now.
Area of knowledge and what I know well:
6.5 years of University credit hours, including 4 years of OSH. I am also a musician (can't play as much as I used to), previously licensed insurance producer and much more.
Certificates/Awards
OSH 30 hour cards (general industry and construction) 2013,
Previously certified in hazardous chemical release (can't afford the yearly recert)
Years back, spent a year as Americorps member working at a senior citizens center and found it very rewarding, was awarded an education grant so went back to school in my fifties and loved it.
