What I think should happen is AARP work on getting g this changed to be that you can contribute up to the point where you apply for Medicare

I just found out that if you and your employer contribute to an HSA account, those contributions are to stop 6 months prior to signing up for Medicare otherwise you may get taxed on those contributions. You should be able to contribute up to the poi...
