Just published my first book, My Tales Growing Up in Long Beach. I was born in 1951 in Long Beach California. Earned a degree at LBCC. Became a Union Electrician, Real Estate Investor, Developer and Pilot.
My book contains my stories about growing up in the 50's,60's and 70's. It begins with an idyllic childhood playing cowboys and Indians trading baseball cards and staying outside until the streetlights came on. My neighborhood was perfect for playing sports, my favorite baseball. As I become a teenager my life takes a turn. I discover girls, cars and the secret of having an alcoholic parent.
This is a book of short stories of my youth that will hopefully reconnect the reader to their own childhood.
