Tell us about yourself:
I am a retired television/radio broadcast engineer. For a short time I worked as a professional photographer and photography remains my hobby, primarily landscape and architectural, with some astronomical work thrown in. In later years I added computer/network administration specializing in closed captioning systems. I taught junior college for a couple of years, and I still drive a car with a manual transmission.
Area of knowledge and what I know well:
Windows, Apple, and Linux computer operating systems including low level administration. Database design and management. Technical photography. I've forgotten more about broadcasting than I care to think about.

Hi there, If there is an ENT, Ear/Nose/Throat, specialist nearby he/she should be equipped to run a basic hearing test for you. A full test requires an Audiologist. The quick search that I ran for your area all comes up with Vancouver. Do see your PC...

Hello everyone, I have had my hearing tested on a fairly regular basis over the years. As a retired audio/video engineer it was simply a good practice. For anyone who has not done so, please do at your earliest opportunity. You likely will be surpris...
