I would buy a smaller newer home, invest, and then continue to live the same way I do now. I travel occasionally, help at our local History Center and knit hats for chemo patients. I would support those activities and also our local Library.

I did not take my S.S. until I was 72. I worked till then also. Retired with a 40 yr. pension, 401K money and the max for S.S. I was widowed at 48, my children were grown and married and I wanted to keep and maintain my home. This was the right choic...

Hi Jan, Looking for another pen pal? I am in my 70's also, life alone, have no family. enjoy crossword puzzles, Jeopardy, reading and knitting hats for chemo patients. Still live in my home, but it is much to large for me now, just cannot seem to let...
