I agree! I think walking is something that I can do on my own without having to join a gym! It can be done at any time of the day independantly. My bonus is that I have 2 dogs that would love to walk with me.

I agree that I would like to start walking everyday, but I honk that 3 miles might be too much for me to go at first. Walking is a great exercise! I can take my dogs ith me too. We can all benefit from walking regularly!

It seems a trend in working out is all variations of a plank. I completed the Self Magazine Challenges (a 28 day workout challenge that began at the beinning of the year), many of the excersises involved plank variations. I find them very challenging, but I know they are working many muscles at one time, so my goal is to get better at planking for a longer period of time (Cher claims she can plank for 7 min. which though I am a fitness enthusiast, I cannot fathom). If I could get up to a 1.5 min I would be happy!

I would love to go back to the gym at least 5 days a week (stopped going 2 years ago and haven't got it together to start again, tho I've paid an exhorbitant amount for membership) and also restart swimming.  I'd like to alternate long brisk walks with the gym, but whichever, I need to start!!!
