Jewish Vocational Service (JVS) helps people, particularly those with barriers to employment, acquire the skills and resources to progress toward the goal of self-sufficiency. The Technology Access Center (TAC) is a community computer facility and resource library available to anyone looking to improve their job-related computer skills and search for a job.
TAC Volunteer Description: TAC Volunteers will help empower clients by helping them become confident and self-sufficient with using computers to achieve their career goals.

Training: To help prepare you for your work in the TAC, JVS offers volunteers a general orientation to all of JVSโ services and programs, as well as specific training on how volunteers will provide support and assist TAC clients in their job search.
Commitment: All TAC volunteers are asked to commit to cover one shift a week (shifts are everyday from 9am-11am, 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm, or 3pm-5pm). Volunteers commit to a total of 8 hours per month.
