Terminated from part time employment in Georgia

I was terminated from a non-profit state funded substance use disorder agency for refusing to agree with their policy of me being responsible for their vehicle insurance deductible (should I have an at-fault accident while conducting company business) which is $1000.00.

If there are any lawyers out there, can you please tell me if this is legal?
