Wasn't there an "Ellis Island" miniseries some years ago? Don't recall exactly when (late '80's is  my best guess), but it wasn't bad.

There have already been documentaries about it, and a Lifetime movie, "The Cleveland Abduction".

My own play -- as a program -- Broadway style musical on the "life and times" of Stephen C. Foster,

Americana 1826 to 1864.  Entertaining, and very factual, with music of the era.  Long: three acts, three hours.  Have had it 25 years, can't get anyone to pay attention to it, or help.

Nancy E. Turenr's trilogy about the early days in Arizona. I thinK they would attract many viewers for weeks. An Arizona tale to even surpass Laura Ingall's books.

I would also like to see an immigrant coming to America series. The book La Immigrata is a wonderful book of an Italian immigrant coming to Utah to make a new life in the American west.
