I found out something today that I never encountered before on any website. You can only log on during regular service hours. Like their computer gets time off. I tried to log on late at night and I got this message.. 

This service is not available at this time.

Please try again during our regular service hours (Eastern Time):

Monday-Friday	5:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.
Saturday	5:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Sunday	8:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Federal Holidays	Same hours as the day the holiday occurs.

Those are the hours of Technical Support for Social Security-  CBSV ( Consent Based Social Security Number Verification) and there is a note on their website that it is undergoing maintenance.

Wow, I have never had this happen to me. I do get notified when the system is going to do maintenance.
