If I am 58 on SSDI receiving $800/month and my spouse is 62 also on SSDI receiving $2,800/month, am I able to claim a spousal benefit and receive half of my spouse's amount ($1,400/month) instead of the $800/month I am currently receiving?
@BRW42
I think you have to be 62 to get spousal benefits off of SSDI. See this AARP article: https://www.aarp.org/retirement/social-security/questions-answers/receiving-disability-is-wife-eligi...
