My social security account

The benefits section on my social security account changed from showing my monthly benefits to show $0.00 benefit the month prior to receiving benefits and the payment date is also no longer showing. Why is this?

Since everybody over the age of 18 can set up a mySocialSecurity account, it gives different people different info.

Sounds like from your post, you have filed for benefits - if so, you should have a letter on your account that verifies this and gives you the amount and I think the date it will be credited to your bank account.  Remember Social Security is paid (1) month in arrears.

I hope I have answered what I thought was your question.
