Social Security COLA Set at 2.5% for 2025.

With inflation slowing, annual benefit adjustment will be lowest in 4 years.

Social Security beneficiaries will get a 2.5 percent increase in their monthly payments next year, the Social Security Administration (SSA) announced Oct. 10.

The 2025 cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) is the lowest since 2021, reflecting a continued cooling of inflation following a surge in consumer prices during the COVID-19 pandemic.

[11/28/24] I just got an EMAIL from my ONLINE Retirement Social Security Account.

There was an ONLINE message with amount of my 2025 INCREASE.

Lol, a BIG $27!!!  🤣😂

So THIS WEEK I bought FRESH VEGGIES for my Kidney Bean Meals (the other meals for each week - 2 Fish Days, 1 Meat Day) and nearly had MY 1ST HEART ATTACK.

Anyway, wishing all the RETIREES all the best for 2025.

Between MEDICARE PART B going up along with OUR OTHER BILLS, all we can do is take 1 step each day.  👣👣👣
