The first thing I do is to hear the person out and look them right in the eye with confidence. I know my value I feel very strongly about it and when I speak my tone conveys my value. My tone doesn't come across as being cocky at the end of the conversation I remove the minimize and replace with Wanda's values worth.

I agree completely with your response to this question. I also feel it is very important to keep a placid tone in your voice while keeping your eyes fixed on the individual which shows confidence and strength. Great response!
