All This Time  -  Sting (2001)

This album is unique because it was recorded in Italy on the evening of 9/11. It was a private concert held at Sting’s villa for members of his fan club. They heard about the terrorist attacks just before the concert was to begin. They decided to go ahead, keeping it to a more somber mood than was planned. The CD was dedicated to the victims of 9/11 in the liner notes. It’s a beautifully done CD.

The Crossroads Guitar Festival founded by Eric Clapton is a benefit concert. There have been 6 live concert festivals all recorded. The first one in 1999 and the last one 2019.  Clapton handpicks the finest guitar players to perform. Too many to name.

They are awesome in concert. I've seen them twice. John was in a band during my high school days and saw him many times there. A good DVD is their live concert in Dublin.
