What songs from the 1970’s are on your playlist?
The 1970's were a great time for me, full of wonderful music to go along with the best decade of my life. So many songs to choose from, but I will start with one of my all time fav Fleetwood Mac songs "Go your own way" from the incredible Rumours album, recorded in 1977. I am pretty sure I wore this album out!!

The incredible Tapestry album by Carole King, released in 1971. Absolutely wore this album out!
I feel the earth move
So far away
It's too late
Home again
Beautiful
Way over yonder
You've got a friend
Where you lead
Will you love me tomorrow?
Smackwater Jack
Tapestry
(You make me feel like) A natural woman

Another album that I can't believe it missed -
Gemini Suite - Deep Purple & The Light Music Society Orchestra (1970)
A follow up to Concerto, also written by Jon Lord. Once again, the band weren't entirely on board, but they went along with it so long as it got minimal publicity. There was only one live performance, but it was still a sell out, and well received.
Jon Lord followed up with a studio album release in 1971, minus two band members, with guest artists and the London Symphony Orchestra. The live album was not released until 1993.
